I selected this hotel because of the location - conveniently close to FSU, to move my son into his residence. Check-in was quick and staff somewhat helpful. There is no on-site restaurant but there was breakfast that could be purchased, and a snack counter. Close Parking - $*/night for overnight stay. The rooms were very clean, mini fridge, but the bed was a not as comfortable as I expected - a little on the hard side, and the bedding did not fit the bed snuggly. Towels were not replaced and I had to request new towels. Did not see any security/security guard, although the entrance door needed key-card after hours.

We had to help my college age daughter move out of her apt. and decided to give this new hotel a try. My daughters really liked the modern look, clean lines, updated design features and amenities. Check in was fast. The staff was helpful and polite. Parking was easy and the location was perfect for us....in the middle of town and close to both my daughter's old apt and her new one. While there is no formal restaurant, there is a small food counter/ mini-market where you can buy sandwiches and chips or cereal and milk for a quick bite. With so many restaurants around...not having one on-site was not a problem for us. There was a mini fridge in our room which came in handy with our restaurant leftovers. We did have 2 cons... The mattress was uncomfortable. I expected better. My daughters and I were quite surprised and disappointed. Granted we have very comfortable beds at home ... so we are a bit spoiled...but I would definitely rec. the hotel consider upgrading their beds. The linens were not as soft as I expected. I can only guess that thread count was not very high. Since it hasn't been open very long (about a year..maybe less) the sheets haven't had enough time or washings to soften as they often do over time. The second item was regarding towels. They were scratchy. Like inexpensive towels you might buy to take to the gym to put between you and the equipment. Again..perhaps with time and multiple washings that will also change. All in all, the hotel has a lot going for it, but when traveling with my princess and the pea sister, who loves a very comfortable bed, we will have to make another hotel choice.
