We stayed here while visiting my nephew. The hotel is a great place to stay. They have outstanding service and will do whatever they can to accommodate you. The have a great bar on the rooftop as well as LeRoc for morning meals. The only thing I did not like was the frosted glass sliding doors that enclosed the bathroom area. If you are traveling alone, it won't be a problem, but if you are traveling with teenage kids....big problem. You can't actually see through them, but you can see the persons movements and what they are doing. I hated it because I had my son with me and he wasn't thrilled with it either. The beds are great. The room has a large flat screen TV and is very tastefully decorated. Each floor has it's own color and scent. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff at the hotel is very young and the rooftop bar attracts the younger Tallahassee crowd. It wasn't a problem as the hotel is very well managed.

A high quality, big city hotel experience is unique for Tallahassee. And Hotel Duval provided it. The quality decor was excellent. Even had robes in the rooms. I was very impressed and told my friends of such. Wished I had more than one night there. The only downside to my stay was the $*valet parking fee. It wasn't disclosed when I reserved the room or when I checked in nor was I told of "other" parking options. I understand parking is limited on site but fully acknowledging the fee should happen.
